This fine example of an oval Japanese Imari jar is beautifully decorated with raised moulded enamel and gilt flowers, the handles are gilded gold. The lid also has the raised moulded pattern and a gilded lion finial. Dating from circa 1700, the jar is in perfect condition. 

A similar example can be found in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, UK
